Foundations 101 – Where my story meets God’s story
- Who is God and what is he like?
- Who am I and how can I relate to God?
- Why is the world broken and what is God doing about it?
Questions like these are among the most important we can ask, and the answers point to the heart of Christianity.
Foundations 101 is a two-week, conversation-oriented seminar in which we explore how our story fits into God’s story and how we can grow in our relationship with him. We look at several passages from the Bible to see what God says about himself, us, and how we should relate to him and each other. We end our time together with a fun project that helps us get to know each other better and plan some next steps in our spiritual journey.
Whether you’re just beginning to explore Christianity, or you’ve been a follower of Jesus for your whole life, we think you’ll find Foundations 101 to be engaging, informative, and challenging.
The next session of Foundations 101 will meet in the winter of 2018 in the Café at the Opera House.
Note: Foundations 101 covers the same material as The Project. If you’ve already completed The Project, please don’t register for Foundations 101 so space will be available for others.
