What the World Needs
7 Virtues that Make Faith Work
We hope you’ll join us on May 21st as we begin a study of the seven virtues which make faith work, ensuring that it becomes a force for good in the world.
Many of us know the persistent desire to be a part of bringing about change. We live in a world that is broken, mixed up, and in need of transformation. But the trouble seems to run so deep we don’t know where to begin. Guided by one of Jesus’ first followers, we’ll see that God intends to use people who have received his grace to do his world transforming work. When we learn how to apply ourselves to growing, we will see how God uses those who are ready to put their faith to work.
Together, we’ll learn how to support faith through goodness, knowledge, self-control, endurance, godliness, mutual affection and love. As these virtues are growing among us, we will see God using us to bring about the change which the world so desperately needs. We are excited to go on this path together, growing into the people that the world needs.
